ZotaPOP.com: A Free DFW Marketing Service

ZotaPOP.com is a novel marketing service targeted at local businesses to increase community interaction and drive sales.

How it Works:
1. We offer our members (local consumers, free membership) one deal a day.
2. The local business owner provides an incredible discount on their service to our members via a voucher our members can pledge to purchase. Only one business is featured per day.
3. We broadcast this voucher to our members.
4. If a minimum number of people pledge to buy the voucher by the end of the day the voucher is deemed valid.
5. If the threshold is not met then voucher is not valid, and the deal is lost.

What’s Different:
Our idea leverages two unique principals. The first is forced word of mouth. Our members inform their friends and families of aggressive offers they are interested in obtaining because the deals are only valid if a minimum number of people pledge to participate. The second principal is effectively leveraging online social networks. Our members forward the details of the deal and featured business to their own personal online community, which increases the exposure of their service to new customers.
